Garrett Woods

Growing up in a diverse home, Garrett Woods developed two passions from an early age: a passion for technology, following in the footsteps of his dad, an electrical engineer, and a passion for art, following in the footsteps of his mom, a classically trained artist. It was not until high school, though, that he discovered a way to combine the two in the pursuit of a filmmaking career.
After taking digital photography classes in high school, the passion for film, television and digital media continued to grow. While pursuing higher education in Christian ministry and theology, Garrett took on a part-time job as a video editor, which only ignited that passion for media even more. Shortly after graduating with honors and a 4.0 from Regent University’s Master of Theological Studies program, the call and passion for media moved him to start his own film and video production company, Cinema With Garrett.
Today, Garrett can be found pursuing his passion for video production and filmmaking across a variety of projects, from social media and advertisements to the silver screen, including his own feature-length documentary, The Rise of Multiplayer. He is its head producer and the co-owner, with director Michael Hoanshelt, of The Rise of Multiplayer Movie LLC, the company they built to make it.
